Before you begin the online application process for employment, you will need to compile the necessary documents and certifications required for your job posting of interest. Specific requirements will be listed with each job posting on EdJoin.

teachers

All applicants applying for teaching positions will be required to provide the following documents.

  • Transcripts showing completion of Bachelor's degree and student teaching
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Resume

instructional assistants

Instructional Assistant applicants are required to provide one of the following documents with their application:

  • Proof of passage of CBEST…or
  • Proof of an AA degree or higher from an accredited institution in the US…or
  • °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±Íø Proficiency Test with passing scores of 70% in all sections…or
  • ACT Test Scores with at least 23 in Math and 22 in English…or
  • SAT Test Scores with at least 550 in Math and 500 in English

When using a diploma to meet the requirements it must be attached to the application. If you do not have one of the above please call our Human Resource Department at 949-936-5130 to schedule an appointment for our Proficiency Test. There is no charge for this test.

clerical applicants

All applicants applying for clerical positions will be required to provide anÌý°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±ÍøÌýtyping test score or a typing certificate from another agency that meets the following criteria.

  • Minimum of 3 minutes in length
  • Gross words per minute reported
  • Net words per minute reported

°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±ÍøÌýhosts typing tests Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Typing tests are scheduled every 30 minutes. Please call Human Resources at (949) 936-5130 to schedule an appointment.

administrators

All applicants applying for administrative positions will be required to provide the following documents.

  • Letter of introduction
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Personal statement specific to prompt listed in posting
